The "Powered Stabilizer Chassis" is a breakthrough for rock trenching technology. The "Powered Stabilizer Chassis" can be used with all ML Series Trenchers and The Prefatigue Trenching Systems. This new technology takes the “dread” out of owning and operating rock trenchers. .
Depending on the width of trench, a single or double hydraulic powered chassis frame is attached to the cutter bar infrastructure “in the trench” directly above the nose-roller. The Patented Miah Prefatigue Rock & Permafrost Trenching System utilizes a staggered cutter chain configuration to more efficiently cut rock. That configuration provides a method for attaching components directly to the back side of the cutter bar providing support “in the trench” without interfering with the cutter chains or sides of the trench.
In simple terms, the powered stabilizer chassis, tracks behind the cutter bar at the bottom of the trench transferring weight from the main trencher chassis while providing tractor effort as it lifts or supports the cutter bar.
This provides support where it is most critical and directs all forces to the ground at the trench bottom. Vibration is greatly reduced and is absorbed through the stabilizer chassis making the trenching process much more efficient.
